Snake

Snake Marble, also known as Serpiente or Beige Serpeggiante, owes its name to the undulating, sinuous nature of its veining. Over a warm, compact beige background, a weave of very fine veins arranged horizontally, alternating slightly darker tones with delicate pink lines. In this way, it runs across each piece with the soft, continuous cadence that evokes the patterns of snakeskin. It's a marble of restrained elegance: its beauty doesn't impose itself, it is discovered. The longer the gaze lingers on it, the more nuances it reveals.

Its physical and mechanical qualities match its aesthetic finesse. A compact material, with very low porosity and great hardness, Serpeggiante responds with equal reliability to the technical demands of indoor and outdoor use. The polished finish — the most characteristic of this stone — draws from its surface a mirror-like shine that amplifies the luminosity of the space and makes the delicacy of its veining vibrate; honing and aging bring a more restful presence, equally sophisticated.
